Origin: Romania

 

Description: A perennial herb with a large, yellow flower head (fluffy and yellow when dried). This herb is native to Central Europe and has naturalized in the mountainous regions of the western United States; with additional species found around the globe. 

 

Additional Names: European arnica, leopard’s bane, and mountain tobacco.

 

Uses: Topical ONLY! Do not ingest or use on open wounds and broken skin.
